Privacy Policy

Vento has no account and no server of its own. Your quiz answers, streak, slips and reasons stay on your iPhone. Two third-party services process a minimum of data so subscriptions work and we can see how the app is used: RevenueCat and PostHog. Neither receives your name, email or health details.

What stays on your device

• Quiz answers — habit, frequency, spend, triggers, reasons.
• Your streak — quit date, slip log and the notes you write with it.
• Settings — reminders on or off.

None of this is uploaded. Settings → Reset all data in the app deletes it; so does deleting the app.

Subscriptions (RevenueCat)

Purchases go through Apple. To know whether your subscription is active, Vento uses RevenueCat, which receives an anonymous app-installation identifier, your purchase and subscription status from Apple, the app version and device type, and your country/store. It does not receive your Apple ID or payment details. See RevenueCat's privacy policy.

Usage analytics (PostHog)

To improve the app we record which screens are used and where people drop out of the onboarding and paywall: events such as "quiz completed" or "paywall viewed", the app version, device model, OS version, language and country. These are tied to a random identifier, not to you, and never include your quiz answers, streak, slips or notes. Data is stored in the EU. See PostHog's privacy policy.

Notifications

Reminders are scheduled on your device. Vento does not use push servers.

What we don't do

• No advertising SDKs, no ad tracking, no selling of data.
• No account, no email collection, no contacts, no location.
• No health data shared with anyone; Vento does not write to Apple Health.

Children

Vento is for adults quitting nicotine. It is rated 17+ and not directed at children.
